Your Opportunity: In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay. Description: As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides safe, high-quality, patient and family-centered care as part of an interprofessional health care team. Responsibilities include utilizing nursing processes and critical thinking to deliver care in alignment with organizational policies and legislation.

Candidates must have completed an accredited practical nurse education program and hold a current BCLS-HCP certification. Active or eligible registration and a practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta are required.
