What You'll Do Every client is unique, but your responsibilities may include: * Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) * Medication reminders and assistance within your scope of practice * Mobility assistance and safe transfers * Meal preparation and nutritional support * Light housekeeping and laundry * Companionship and meaningful social interaction * Dementia care * Supporting children and adults with disabilities * Documenting care notes using our mobile app * Communicating changes in client condition to our clinical team What We're Looking For We're searching for caregivers who: * Have a genuine passion for helping others * Are dependable and punctual * Communicate professionally with clients, families, and staff * Can work independently while following care plans * Remain calm and confident in challenging situations * Treat every client with dignity, patience, and respect Qualifications Required: * Alberta Health Care Aide Certificate (or equivalent) * Valid First Aid & CPR * Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search * Reliable transportation * Valid driver's licence * Ability to use a smartphone for scheduling and documentation * Eligible to work in Canada Preferred: * Home Care experience * Dementia care experience * Palliative care experience * Experience supporting adults or children with disabilities (FSCD) * HCA Directory registration (if applicable) Why Join Alberta Homecare Solutions?
