ABOUT THE ROLE Amrize Construction is seeking a seasonal, full-time Labourer to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. This role plays a crucial part in supporting construction operations by performing a variety of manual labor tasks to ensure job site efficiency and safety. The successful candidate will assist with general site maintenance, material handling, and equipment operation. This is a full-time seasonal position. WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH * Conduct pre and post-trip inspections. * Perform minor truck and equipment maintenance. * Check grades to ensure accuracy. * Maintain clean job sites by performing shoveling, raking, sweeping, and other general labor duties. * Assist with hauling trailers when required. * Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required Work Experience: Road construction experience Required Training/Certifications: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License Travel Requirements: Frequent travel between job sites within the City of Saskatoon and surrounding areas Additional Requirements: * Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including crouching, bending, lifting, and kneeling. * Proven ability to follow safe work procedures and complete field risk assessments. * Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
