Flights, accommodations, and meals are provided while working on site. The Opportunity We are seeking Bartender & Guest Services Support Staff to join our seasonal lodge operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, guest engagement, bartending, and creating memorable guest experiences in a remote luxury lodge setting. This is a dynamic and hands-on role that combines bartending, dining room service, guest programming support, aurora experiences, and front-of-house operations. Successful candidates will be adaptable, guest-focused, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment where no two days are the same. While this position formally reports to the Assistant Lodge Manager, team members may receive day-to-day operational direction from the Lodge Manager, Executive Chef, Sous Chef, guides, or other operational leads depending on operational requirements. What You’ll Be Doing Bartending & Beverage Service • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages • Manage guest tabs and process transactions using the Square POS system • Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and inventory • Support responsible alcohol service standards • Maintain knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty beverages Dining Room & Guest Service • Provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner table service • Set, clear, and reset dining tables • Deliver attentive and professional guest experiences • Communicate dietary restrictions and guest requests with the kitchen team • Support lounge upkeep and front-of-house presentation standards Guest Experiences & Programming • Assist with guest activities, workshops, crafts, cultural experiences, and evening programming in collaboration with guides and lodge staff • Support aurora viewing experiences and evening guest engagement • Assist guests with photography support and outdoor fire preparation during aurora programming Lodge Operations Support • Assist with guest luggage and operational setup tasks • Support general lodge cleanliness and organization • Assist with activity setup and operational readiness • Contribute positively to overall team operations in a remote lodge environment What We’re Looking For • Previous bartending, serving, hospitality, or guest service experience required • Experience using POS systems, including Square, considered an asset • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Professional, positive, and guest-focused attitude • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic remote environment • Ability to work collaboratively within a small team • Remote lodge, tourism, or camp experience considered an asset • Valid alcohol service certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment Working at Blachford Lodge Working in a remote off-grid lodge environment requires flexibility, teamwork, professionalism, and adaptability.
