Key Duties and Responsibilities: Plans and implements activities and special events for a program. Oversees the day-to-day operation of the program by ensuring that the necessary facilities and equipment are in place, program guidelines and policies are adhered to, and program standards and licensing requirements are met. Makes recommendations to the supervisor regarding program development, policy and procedure formulation, and program evaluation. Promotes public awareness of and support for the program by performing duties such as producing promotional materials and attending community events. Liaises with community service providers and other professionals to coordinate service provision, facilitate referrals to the program, and represent the organization or program in external events. Maintains related records and statistics and produces reports as required. Qualifications: A diploma, certificate and/or relevant experience working with children in recreation, education or other social services. Valid First Aid certificate 20 Hours Responsible Adult training or willingness to obtain Class 4 Driver’s Licence or willingness to obtain it immediately Successful completion of Agency screening including a Criminal Record Check Must be at least 19 years of age as per Provincial Licensing Regulations Additional Information: This position is open to all applicants This position requires union membership Hours: 20 hours per week Rate of Pay: $19.82 per hour Closing Date: July 14, 2026 As an equal opportunity employer, BGC Okanagan is committed to the prioritization of equitable and inclusive employment practices. Exigences

Candidates need a diploma, certificate, or relevant experience in recreation, education, or social services, and must be at least 19 years old. Required certifications include First Aid and 20 Hours Responsible Adult training, along with a valid Criminal Record Check.
