Reporting to the Senior Director, Clinical Services, the Nursing Resource Unit is currently seeking a full-time, temporary (12 months) Manager. Working closely with the ED/Inpatient Managers, CSSO Manager, After Hours Site Administrators and Human Resources, the Manager, NRU is responsible for leadership of the inter-professional team including nursing and allied health, and new graduate nurses. Along with CSSO Leadership, the NRU manager will build a strong and effectively integrated staffing and scheduling process involving the resource unit operations to: ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, enable leadership to assess, plan and make decisions for the purpose of improving staff utilization, and help to ensure that units have the right staffing levels and qualified staff to perform their work. The Manager will ensure safe operations and will promote and facilitate the vision and philosophy of care for the patients at CAMH. The Manager will represent the department both within CAMH and with external stakeholders as required and achieve excellence in all aspects of service delivery on both a strategic and operational level. Exigences
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Nursing, Social Work, or Health Sciences Administration. A minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience in an inpatient department setting is required, along with registration in good standing with a regulated healthcare college.
