The mail carrier is responsible for the safe and timely sorting, collection, and delivery of mail items to various communities. They must maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers and ensure all mail is securely handled. Candidates must possess a valid permanent provincial driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and have access to a vehicle meeting specific cargo and equipment requirements. Applicants must also be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lb (22.7 kg) and pass a pre-employment test.
