Overview: $23.15 / hour This is a vacant unionized position.Employment will be governed pursuant to the collective bargaining agreement between the Company and IATSE. You’ll also… Assist with the build and maintenance of costumes, worn props, masks, prosthetics, and fabric décor pieces as assigned Perform daily cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of all assigned costumes Maintain at all times a positive rapport with all guests and employees in the Park Ensure that all safety standards and practices are met Abide by all Canada’s Wonderland policies and procedures as set out by the park and the Entertainment Department Perform all duties as assigned by Department Management. Applicants that are currently enrolled in or a graduate of a post-secondary program that includes a specialty in theatrical wardrobe, costuming or fashion Individuals that are able to operate industrial and domestic costuming and wardrobe equipment, such as; sewing machines, sergers, irons, steamers, laundry and maintenance equipment Applicants that have the ability to sew a variety of fabrics including knits as well as, being proficient in hand sewing Good working knowledge of adhesives will assist in character costume maintenance Candidates with knowledge and understanding of fabrics and fabric care Applicants that are available to work flexible shifts including evenings, on weekends, and holidays

Assist with the build, repair, and daily maintenance of costumes, worn props, masks, and prosthetics. Ensure all safety standards are met while maintaining a positive rapport with guests and employees.

Applicants should be graduates or students of a post-secondary program specializing in theatrical wardrobe, costuming, or fashion. Proficiency in operating industrial sewing equipment and knowledge of various fabrics and adhesives is required.
