About the role Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary full-time Manager, Strategy Planning and Integration to join our dynamic Inclusion, Sustainability and Engagement (ISE) team. The ISE team works to ensure Canadian Blood Services is a leader in inclusion, sustainability and engagement, best positioning us to be prepared for the ever changing present and future. In this role, you will help shape and coordinate the division-wide portfolio of strategic initiatives. Working closely with leaders within ISE and partners across the organization, you will support strategic planning, portfolio oversight, performance measurement, reporting, and financial planning while helping connect priorities across teams. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys bringing people together, translating strategy into action, and adapting to evolving priorities.Formula for success Drawing on your strategic planning expertise, you will help define priorities, roadmaps, and performance measures that support divisional goals and long-term direction. Using strong portfolio management skills, you will monitor progress, guide prioritization decisions, and help leaders keep strategic initiatives aligned and on track. Your ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams will help strengthen integration of priorities and initiatives throughout the organization. By applying sound judgement to risk identification, performance measurement, and reporting, you will support informed decision-making and demonstrate progress against strategic objectives. Leveraging your planning and financial management skills, you will support budgeting, forecasting, and funding processes that enable successful delivery of divisional priorities. Through clear communication, facilitation, and well-developed briefing materials, you will help advance key initiatives and foster alignment among stakeholders and senior leaders. Desired education and skills University degree in a relevant discipline, MBA or other equivalent professional degree preferred. 5+ years of progressive experience in strategy, planning, and execution. 5+ years of experience in developing and fostering effective professional relationships. Excellent group facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent understanding of strategy management and portfolio management. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. What we offer you 4 weeks' vacation. Payment in lieu of vacation. Annual performance award up to 10%.
