THE ROLE As an Arena Operator with Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services, you will be part of a team proud to provide safe, quality arena facilities to members of the Canadian Armed Forces community. You will take satisfaction seeing them at play and enjoying the facilities and get to experience the thrill of the cheering fans as you drive the Zamboni down the ice surface. Daily, you will ensure the ice rink is maintained, dressing rooms are ready and equipment is organized and in proper working order. You will greet visitors, manage access to the facility and answer customer inquiries. You will patrol the facility to ensure rules and regulations are being followed and equipment and facilities are safe for all those that visit. Qualifications Needed Education, Certifications and Licenses High school diploma AND some years experience in a related field. (OR An acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience) Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification Valid Driver’s Licence (AB) Recreation Facilities Association Certified Ice Technician (AB), an asset Experience In ice rink maintenance In operating ice rink equipment Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership. Exigences

Requires a high school diploma and several years of related experience, along with a valid Alberta driver's license and current CPR/Standard First Aid certification. Certification as a Recreation Facilities Association Certified Ice Technician is considered an asset.
