Elk Island Public Schools is recruiting a secondary CTS Building Construction Teacher at Vegreville Composite High. The job will have an FTE between 0.714 and 1.0 that will be decided upon in consultation with the successful candidate. There is the opportunity to increase FTE up to a 1.0 based on the ability to teach Science/Chemistry or other teachable subjects. Please include all teachable subject areas and courses in your cover letter/resume. Having a journeyperson credential would be considered an asset. Vegreville Composite High serves approximately 375 students in grades 7 to 12, with 21 teaching staff and eight support staff. The school is located in Vegreville, AB, approximately 90 kilometres east of Sherwood Park, AB. Vegreville Composite High prepares each student to contribute fully to the community by developing responsibility, respect and a desire for lifelong learning.
