Location: Etobicoke, Ontario Status: Full-time Temporary Vacancy (12-month term) Salary Range: The annual salary for this position ranges from $36,750 - $44,750. Exact compensation may vary based on qualification, experience, and education Closing Date: August 25, 2026 We are ESC, an experienced provider that delivers solutions uniting public records data, customer authentication, corporate services, collateral management, asset recovery, and accounts receivable management which support registration, due diligence, and lending practices of clients across Canada. Our people are what drives our innovation, growth, and well-being. We are looking for a Temporary Appraiser for a up to 12 months, to help with our continued growth and contribute to our future. Please note: Due to the nature of the role, this position requires the successful candidate to be 100% on-site. The Appraiser will input data from the Recovery department and manage a file’s status as it progresses towards its legal sale date. Additionally, the appraiser would be coordinating with auctions across Canada to obtain status updates on aging inventory. Reporting to Sales Manager, other highlights include: Responsible for filling out ownership applications with the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario. Obtained ownership for all vehicles sold through Ontario auctions. Sent ownerships via mail to auctions across Ontario. Miscellaneous appraisal duties which include assessing damages and costs for repair, taking, and uploading photos. Miscellaneous office duties / reports as requested. What you’ll need: High school diploma, or equivalent education. Valid driver’s license for Ontario; Driver's abstract may be required. Ability to comfortably use a computer, Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new technologies/applications are required. Ability to identify "problem files" for escalation to management. Previous repossession experience is an asset. Exigences
