The company continues to invest in capital programs and asset integrity initiatives to ensure the safe and reliable operation of its infrastructure. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Material Coordinator to support procurement and supply chain activities for major projects and operational initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and commodities, coordinating supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of critical goods to support business operations. Working closely with Project Teams, Engineering, Supply Chain, Legal, Risk, and external suppliers, you will play a key role in sourcing materials, conducting commercial evaluations, negotiating supplier agreements, and driving cost-saving initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for a procurement professional with strong SAP experience and a background supporting industrial, energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Lead material procurement activities for assigned projects and commodity categories of varying complexity Develop, issue, and manage RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and other sourcing events Conduct bid analysis and commercial evaluations while coordinating technical reviews with internal stakeholders Negotiate pricing, terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for purchase orders within assigned categories Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key internal stakeholders Source and manage suppliers for interstate natural gas pipe, valves, fittings, and other critical material categories Ensure compliance with purchase order terms, conditions, and procurement policies Maintain accurate procurement and supplier records within SAP Review bills of materials, technical specifications, and project requirements to support sourcing decisions Identify and implement cost savings, process improvements, and supply chain efficiencies Monitor supplier performance, market conditions, and industry trends Provide recommendations to business leaders regarding supplier strategies, cost drivers, and sourcing opportunities Actively identify future supply chain requirements through market analysis and collaboration with business units What You Bring Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, material coordination, or supply chain management within industrial, energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure environments Strong experience managing supplier relationships, sourcing activities, and commercial negotiations Experience issuing and managing RFPs, RFQs, and supplier evaluation processes Ability to analyze bids, conduct commercial assessments, and support contract award recommendations Working knowledge of bills of materials, technical documentation, and engineering specifications Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities Experience identifying cost savings opportunities and driving continuous improvement initiatives Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Must have SAP experience in a Buyer, Procurement, or Purchasing role Experience supporting pipeline, natural gas, energy infrastructure, or large capital projects is considered a strong asset What You Need to Do Now If you meet the requirements and are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
