Position #: 194111 Expected Start Date: October 01, 2026 Union: OOS Facility: Saskatchewan Health Authority City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Director Office - Pharmacy Rural Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: October 01, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 5 shifts of 7.5 hours per 1 weeks Relief: No Float: No Salary or Pay Band: As per Terms and Conditions of Employment Travel Required: Yes Job Description: The Administrative Assistant is accountable to provide confidential administrative support to the Directors they are assigned to. This position supports, and contributes to, processes and practices to ensure the efficient operation of the portfolio(s), through accurate, timely and efficient execution of confidential administrative support functions for Directors. The incumbent works closely, in a collaborative and cooperative manner, with all members of the administrative team to assist in accomplishing the Saskatchewan Health Authority's objectives. The incumbent co-ordinates workflow with other administration support staff and, in their absence, may provide support services as requested. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience * 3-5 years of experience working in a senior administrative assistant-type role Education * Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by a recognized business course Competencies * Interpersonal skills * Planning skills * Communication skills * Organizational skills * Problem solving skills * Computer skills Knowledge and Abilities * Ability to make timely and accurate decision making * Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, scheduling & training platforms * Ability to work collegially, collaboratively and build positive relationships * Commitment to a diverse, culturally competent, culturally safe work environment * Excellent proficiency in editing material for clarity, accuracy and conciseness * Ability to adapt to frequent change and work under pressure * Have high degree of initiative, ingenuity & can work with little/no supervision * Working knowledge of SHA governance/org structure/relationships * Can maintain confidentiality including confidential information with discretion. * Ability to be self directed and work relatively independently * Knowledge & experience in minute taking & synthesizing information Other Information * An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment.
