The driver is responsible for transporting products and raw materials between plant locations and branches using tractor/trailers and LCVs. They must ensure all operations comply with MOT rules, HOS reporting, and safety standards while maintaining vehicle integrity.

Responsibilities Responsible for transporting products and raw materials to and from branches (Kenora, Dauphin, Brandon) and plant locations Driving a Tractor/Trailer and LCV, days and times to be determined May be responsible for picking up raw materials from suppliers and returning to the plant. Day and Night Shift Flexibility required Overnight runs required with sleeper tractor Demonstrated proficiency with hooking/unhooking trailer/convertor combinations. Clear understanding of all axle capacities, ensuring all are always compliant Clear understanding of all MOT rules/regulations, along with HOS proficiency and reporting Must perform all work duties in a safe and efficient manner Additional duties as assigned by manager Major Physical Demands: Occasionally pushing/pulling/lifting a maximum of 250 lbs. (with the aid of a mechanical device). Frequent bending and reaching above the shoulder. Qualifications A valid Class 1 Driver’s license required; with documented driving experience. Ie HOS reports Extended length permit preferred, with a clean abstract as well as a proven safe driving record, TDG and LCV certificate preferred Ability to demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills and professional driver techniques in a highway and inter city environment Candidates will perform a proper brake adjustment, and complete a thorough Pre-trip inspection, identifying components most subject to wear. Clean abstract and PepsiCo safety compliance Dependable with strong customer focus and the ability to quickly adapt to the changing needs of our internal customers. 1,000,000 highway miles or more long haul experience preferred. Candidates must possess a valid Class 1 Driver’s license, a clean driving abstract, and extensive long-haul experience, with 1,000,000 highway miles preferred. Proficiency in pre-trip inspections, brake adjustments, and knowledge of TDG and LCV regulations is required.
