Company: Besser Company Department: Manufacturing Location: Montreal, Canada Posted: 09/10/2026 JOB SUMMARY: The Shipper Receiver is responsible for packing and shipping parts and materials. Essential Functions Prepares records of shipments and bills of lading for ground and air shipments in accordance with company policy. Posts shipments to customer orders. Upon completion of shipment, show order as shipped and forward documents to the accounting department. Maintains other shipping records such as goods returned. Weighs and labels shipments and moves material with a hand truck. Forwards packing lists as needed and files copies. Data entry to business system such as posting individual part weight. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Two years experience as a shipping clerk. Skills: Must be able to know how to use UPS Worldship or similar carrier-based shipping software. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office software programs. Forklift certification or significant forklift operating experience preferred. Skilled in working with wood, including carpentry experience. Requirements: Must work in a safe manner and must have a safe work record. Safety must be the first and foremost concern as these machines are capable of great bodily harm.
