This position is a temporary 18-month maternity leave coverage. Anticipated Start Date: July 1, 2026 The Administration/Office Manager plays a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations at Kinsight, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes. This position will manage and supervise the administrative support team, provide senior-level administrative assistance to the leadership team, lead special projects, organize meetings and events, and oversee facility management. The Administration/Office Manager will foster strong, collaborative relationships with staff at all levels, as well as with community partners, stakeholders, and vendors. This role requires the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and address emerging issues with a high level of sound judgment, ensuring tasks are handled promptly and appropriately. A strong sense of confidentiality and discretion is essential in maintaining trust and integrity in all aspects of the role. Qualifications/Requirements: A degree/diploma in Business or Business Administration, or a relevant field of study. In the absence of a post-secondary degree/diploma, a relevant combination of education and experience may be considered. A minimum of 2 years of experience supervising a staff team 5 years of experience supporting senior executives on a daily basis Valid BC Driver’s license Access to and use of a personal vehicle on a daily basis Maintain a satisfactory vulnerable sector criminal record check throughout employment Experience in the social services and/or non-profit sector an asset Experience supervising staff in a unionized environment an asset Skills Required: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Ability to behave in an ethical and discrete manner including ensuring appropriate confidentiality Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work in an environment subject to changing deadlines and interruptions Ability to function in a self-directed environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity Intermediate/advanced computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office & Adobe Acrobat programs Experience supporting and training staff on the use of software and technology A minimum typing speed of 50 wpm Ability to efficiently and accurately take concise meeting minutes High level of organization and flexibility Administrator experience with MS/Sharepoint or Sharevision an asset Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends in order to support Board Meetings, Annual General Meetings, events, and as needed.
