Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Mississauga, Canada Site is looking for a new Temporary Inventory Specialist to join our Contract Logistics team. How you create impact The position is accountable for continuously monitoring inventory accuracy, investigating root causes of inventory discrepancies, and leading physical inventory periodically. Perform warehouse duties using equipment (Forklift, Raymond Reach, Reverse); Investigating and identifying the root cause of inventory variances; Managing physical inventory counts on short timelines; Perform physical inventory procedures and cycle counts; Maintain Over Short & Damage (OS&D) program; Processing claims and warehouse transfers; Inspecting and correcting Inventory Diagnostics; Client exit and deletion procedures; Entry and release of the count plans within the Warehouse Management System; Picking support for stock outages, incorrect articles, and damage goods found during processing; Transactions balance over and under location discrepancies within the Warehouse Management System; Identifies nonconformities and potential nonconformities; Article maintenance and set up; Direct customer interaction to resolve issues; Comply with GMP requirements as applicable to ensure that all quality and regulatory requirements of Health Canada and other applicable authorities and client requirements are met. Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. The specialist is responsible for monitoring inventory accuracy, investigating discrepancies, and leading periodic physical inventory counts. They also manage warehouse transfers, maintain the OS&D program, and ensure compliance with GMP and Health Canada requirements.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in inventory control and WMS, along with 6 months of experience in cycle counting and operating a cherry picker or order picker. The role requires the ability to multi-task and perform basic mathematical calculations.
