API Tester

Role: Senior QA API Tester - (API testing using Ready API , front end testing using Katalon, Knowledge on Automation framework) Experience Required: 8-10 Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (3 Days WFO) Hiring Mode: 6-12 months Contract Pay: CAD 45-50/Hr. Description: Overall 8 years of experience in QE testing. 3 years of experience in API testing (ReadyAPI) Develop automated tests to be used as part of Continuous Integration Framework. Ability to integrate tests with different tools. Experience using softwareAPI testing tools and programming languages such as such as ReadyAPI (SoapUI Pro),Git, Java, Groovy Script ,Selenium, Jenkins, SQL Developer, JIRA and Confluence Responsible for QA testing of RESTful API(JSON).Good experience of front end testing using Katalon Strong understanding of application specifications, writing test plans and executing them. Good knowledge of Quality assurance processes.Work experience in Agile environment. Domain knowledge and work experience in Banking and Payments processes. Develop and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs and front-end applications within a Continuous Integration framework. Responsible for writing test plans and ensuring quality assurance for banking and payments processes.

Requires 8-10 years of overall QE experience, including at least 3 years specializing in API testing with ReadyAPI. Proficiency in Java, Groovy, and Katalon is essential, along with experience in an Agile banking environment.
