Network Integration Engineer

Rate: CAD 50-55/hr Job Requirements* • 4+ years’ experience in Telecom System Integration • Hands-on experience with Packet Core Gateway (UPF/SMF) • Strong understanding of 5G Core Architecture • Experience with Kubernetes-based CNF lifecycle management • DevOps and CI/CD exposure Key Responsibilities* • Integration, deployment and validation of PCG • End-to-end call flow testing and troubleshooting • Packet capture and protocol-level trace analysis • Operate and troubleshoot CNFs on Kubernetes platforms • Support Tier-1 customers in live environments Qualification: Domain • PCG (UPF, SMF) • 5G Core – Control & User Plane • Kubernetes, Helm, CNF Operations • Linux, Networking, TCP/IP • DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines Soft Skills • Strong problem-solving ability • Ability to work independently • Effective communication skills • Adaptability to dynamic environments Education Requirements Bachelor's/Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent Certifications • Ericsson 5G Core Certification (Preferred) • CKA / CKAD (Preferred) • DevOps or Cloud Certifications

The role involves integration, deployment, and validation of Packet Core Gateway (PCG) systems, as well as end-to-end call flow testing and troubleshooting. Additionally, the engineer will operate and troubleshoot Containerized Network Functions (CNFs) on Kubernetes platforms.

Candidates should have over 4 years of experience in Telecom System Integration and hands-on experience with Packet Core Gateway components. A strong understanding of 5G Core Architecture and experience with Kubernetes-based CNF lifecycle management is also required.
