We are proud to be formally recognized with industry and ministerial awards for innovation and environmental stewardship, while managing long-term contracts within both provincial and federal jurisdictions We are looking to hire a Equipment Operator to be based in Egremont, AB. Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure safe work operations and full compliance to operating procedures. Responsible for pre & post inspection check of equipment and track in log book. Report any equipment defects or maintenance issues to Foreman/Superintendent. Responsible for checking and refilling equipment fuels and fluids to required specs. Track any refueling or tops in inspection log. Assist in the maintenance of equipment. Maintain tidiness within the equipment. Prepare and submit necessary reports (daily, weekly, etc.). Actively participate in the compliance of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System. Perform other duties that may be required from time to time. Required Skills: Experience in equipment operations including tractor-trailers, snowplow trucks with sanders, maintenance graders, and/or other highway maintenance / construction equipment. Experience and ability to perform various highway maintenance activities including highway maintenance labour work, road and bridge maintenance, and other construction activities. A valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license. Ability to work day and night shifts. Demonstrated initiative with solid HSE fundamentals and a sound work ethic.
