Marine Mechanic – Full-Time (Havelock, Ontario) $26–$40/hour | Hands-On Work | Training + On-the-Water Perks Legend Boats is hiring! We’re looking for an experienced Marine Mechanic to join our team in Havelock, Ontario. If you enjoy diagnosing issues, working with your hands, and being around boats, this is a great opportunity to do what you love in a supportive, team-driven environment. This is a full-time role with strong potential for ongoing opportunities. What You’ll Do Diagnose, repair, and service outboard motors (2-stroke & 4-stroke) Perform seasonal maintenance, including winterizations Conduct water testing to troubleshoot and optimize performance Assemble and rig boats (pontoons, fishing boats, deck boats, etc.) Complete warranty repairs with a high level of quality and care Work collaboratively to meet daily shop and production goals What You Bring Must-have: 3+ years of marine mechanic experience Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Mercury Certification Experience working with outboard engines Valid driver’s license Nice to have: Boating license (if not must be willing to get) Team lead or supervisory experience Experience with Salesforce Field Service or other CRM platforms You are someone who: Takes pride in your work and attention to detail Enjoys hands-on, problem-solving work Communicates clearly with team members and customers Adapts well to changing priorities to better meet client needs Embraces technology to plan and schedule work, and track efficiency Has a passion for boating and the outdoor lifestyle Compensation & Perks $26–$40/hour (based on experience) Ongoing training through Legend and Mercury programs Supportive, team-oriented work environment Company events and team celebrations Live the Legend Program – opportunities to get out on the water Two weeks of annual vacation to start, with Flex Vacation options Comprehensive medical, dental, life, and disability benefits after 6 months Voluntary Retirement Savings Plan with company-matched contributions after 6 months About Legend Boats Legend Boats is a leading Canadian manufacturer of aluminum, deck, and pontoon boats built for life on the water.
