Admin Team Lead – Transcriptionist Team Lead (Alberta Program Clinics) Your Impact Starts Here As a Transcriptionist Team Lead, you play a critical role behind the scenes of patient care—ensuring clinical reports are accurate, timely, and support strong outcomes across Lifemark’s rehabilitation programs. You’ll lead a team of transcriptionists who work independently, while fostering connection, consistency, and quality across a highly collaborative clinical network. Your Team: A remote team of transcriptionists working independently, supported by you as their leader, and connected to interdisciplinary clinic teams across Alberta. How You’ll Lead & Contribute • Lead and support a team of transcriptionists, fostering accountability, quality, and collaboration • Transcribe and edit medical and rehabilitation reports with a high degree of accuracy • Ensure reports meet program requirements for WCB, and other referral streams • Coordinate workflow, prioritize assignments, and manage turnaround times • Collaborate with clinicians and program teams to clarify dictation and ensure completeness • Provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members • Contribute to continuous improvement in transcription processes and quality standards What You Bring • Completion of a recognized Medical Transcription program • 2+ years of transcription experience (rehabilitation, medical, or diagnostic imaging preferred) • Previous experience in a team lead or mentorship capacity is an asset • Exceptional grammar, editing, and attention to detail • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and report structure • Ability to manage high volumes of work with accuracy and efficiency • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment • Must be based in Alberta with a reliable home office setup Beyond the Benefits – Working at Lifemark We believe when our teams are supported, patients feel the difference.
