Liquid Personnel is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Social Worker to support their Looked After Children Team in Surrey. What will your responsibilities be? * Manage a caseload of children who are in the care of the local authority. * Develop, implement, and regularly review care plans tailored to each child’s needs. * Ensure children’s placements (foster care, residential care, kinship care) are safe, stable, and supportive. * Promote the child’s health, education, and emotional wellbeing, ensuring access to appropriate services. * Maintain regular contact with children through statutory visits and direct work. * Prepare and present reports for Looked After Child Reviews. * Work closely with birth families, carers, schools, health professionals, and other agencies. * Support children through transitions, including reunification with family, adoption, or leaving care. * Advocate for the child’s voice to be heard in all aspects of planning and decision-making.
