POSITION Title: English Teacher Department: English Status: Part-time Position (33.33%) for the Fall 2026 Semester Discipline: English Course Number and Title: 603-103-MQ Literary Themes Schedule: Wednesday / Friday 2:15-4:15pm Classification: Based on Schooling and Experience Contract Dates: August 16, 2026 to January 15, 2027 NATURE AND SCOPE We are a seeking a dynamic, dedicated individual to teach English. Responsibilities include availability for office hours and departmental activities. The English Teacher will be responsible for teaching the Literary Themes course to college students during the Fall 2026 semester. Responsibilities also include maintaining office hours and participating in departmental activities.

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in English Literature and possess excellent oral and written English communication skills. Previous experience teaching at the college level, English as a second language, or creative writing is considered an asset.
