POSITION SUMMARY: MasTec Purnell Canada is currently looking for Apprentice Pipefitters from Grande Prairie and surrounding areas. Preference will be given to candidates LOCAL to Grande Prairie and surrounding areas. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: First Aid H2S Alive CSO Indentured apprentice KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for promoting and living out MasTec Purnell Canada’s 6 Core Values Valid Class 5 driver's license is required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Valid Safety Tickets Ability to identify and report hazards Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively Effective attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy Read and interpret documents such as safety rules Ambitious, pro-active, high-energy, positive attitude and team player

Exigences

Candidates must be indentured apprentices with a valid Class 5 driver's license and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Required certifications include First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO.
