Role: SAP S/4HANA IS-U FICA / Collections Subject Matter Expert (SME) Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid / Onsite Experience: 12+ Years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA IS-U FICA / Collections SME with deep expertise in Collections, Dunning, and Revenue Recovery within the Utilities sector. The ideal candidate will lead advisory workshops, define the Target Operating Model (TOM), design end-to-end collections processes, and support S/4HANA transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Serve as the SME for SAP S/4HANA IS-U FICA Collections & Dunning. Lead business workshops, gather requirements, and define the Target Operating Model (TOM) for Collections. Design end-to-end Collections, Receivables, Dunning, and Revenue Recovery processes aligned with SAP best practices. Conduct L1–L3 process mapping, Fit-Gap analysis, BRDs, and requirement traceability. Recommend automation and modernization opportunities for S/4HANA transformations. Design integrations with SAP IS-U Customer Service, Billing, FI/CO, Credit Management, CRM/CX, Payment Gateways, and External Collection Agencies. Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, APIs, workflows, enhancements, and data migration. Required Skills & Experience 12+ years of SAP IS-U experience, including 8+ years specializing in FI-CA Collections & Dunning. Strong expertise in: SAP IS-U FI-CA Collections Management & Dunning Promise-to-Pay, Installment Plans, Security Deposits Payment Processing, Returns, Write-offs & Recovery Interest Calculation, Correspondence Framework, Mass Activities Open Item Management & Business Partner Integration Experience defining Target Operating Models (TOM) and leading advisory engagements. Multiple end-to-end SAP S/4HANA IS-U/FICA implementation or transformation projects. Strong understanding of Utilities Customer-to-Cash (C2C) processes. Experience with solution design, process mapping, Fit-Gap analysis, and stakeholder workshops. Education Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Lead advisory workshops to define the Target Operating Model and design end-to-end collections and revenue recovery processes. Collaborate with technical teams to manage integrations, requirement traceability, and S/4HANA transformation initiatives.

Requires over 12 years of SAP IS-U experience, with at least 8 years specializing in FI-CA Collections and Dunning. Candidates must have a proven track record in leading S/4HANA transformations and designing complex utility business processes.
