Posting Number: T7-4054860 - Round 1 Description: English Language Learning Teacher - Grades K-12 Location: District (Elk Valley) Contract Type: Full-time Temporary (1.0 FTE) Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $70,392 to $119,187, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. Benefits: We offer a competitive benefits package and pension. Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay). Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting. Job Summary English Language Learning Teacher - Grades K-12 1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting September 8, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to June 25, 2027, or return of the incumbent. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience English Language Learning or English as a Second Language at the K-12 level. Two years of experience would be considered an asset. This is a District position, and will support communities in the Elk Valley. Please note that all work will be on site. Applicants All applicants are invited to apply through Make a Future.
