Posting Number: T7-4054860 - Round 1 Description: English Language Learning Teacher - Grades K-12 Location: District (Elk Valley) Contract Type: Full-time Temporary (1.0 FTE) Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $70,392 to $119,187, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting. Job Summary English Language Learning Teacher - Grades K-12 1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting September 8, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to June 25, 2027, or return of the incumbent. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience English Language Learning or English as a Second Language at the K-12 level. Two years of experience would be considered an asset. The teacher will provide English Language Learning support for students across grades K-12 within the Elk Valley communities. The role involves delivering instruction tailored to students learning English as a second language.

Applicants must possess a degree or formal training in English Language Learning or ESL and hold BC Teacher Certification. Two years of teaching experience is considered an asset.
