As Night Watchperson, you are passionate about ensuring the safety, security, and peace of the Inn during overnight hours. You can patrol the premises and communicate maintenance needs. You are comfortable handling any emergency that arises during the night. You are attentive, responsible, and have strong problem-solving skills to handle various night-time security requirements. WHAT YOU’LL DO The role of the Overnight Watchperson is comprised, but not limited to, the responsibilities listed below. * Conduct regular patrols of the Inn’s interior and exterior to ensure safety, security, and to prevent unauthorized entry or disturbances. * Act as the first responder to fire alarms, and other urgent situations, notifying the appropriate Leadership team members. * Complete nightly walkthroughs of the Inn, ensuring all tasks related to its oversight are completed. * Maintain a detailed nightly log of activities, incidents, and any maintenance needs observed during patrols. * Ensure all entrances, exits, and restricted areas are securely locked, performing lock and key checks as required. * Report any issues, safety concerns, or incidents to the day shift or management team for follow-up. * Complete any cleaning tasks in relation to the Inn’s oversight as required. * Must be hardworking, reliable, punctual, independent and willing to do a multitude of tasks with short notice. * Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision. * Must be able to work in all weather. * Follow directions from supervisors and onsite foremen. * Treat fellow employees with respect and fairness. * Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and mobility to walk/stand regularly, carry wood, and meet other physical demands of the role. * Perform other duties as assigned.
