At Sinai Health, we care, create possibilities and offer hope. We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to support our Pharmacy department. Job Outline: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for technical and clerical functions in the area assigned. Duties include unit-dose or traditional dispensing, medication order entry, medication cart refill, ward stock replenishment, inventory management, sterile products preparation, manufacturing and pre-packaging. All rotations include responsibility for continuous quality improvement and workload measurement Job Type: Temporary Full-Time months (up to 18 months) Education & Qualifications: Pharmacy Technician Diploma from a Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP) accredited college Registered and licensed as a Pharmacy Technician (RPhT designation) with the Ontario College of Pharmacists under Part A, in good standing and authorized to practice A minimum of 1 year related hospital experience is required, with 3 years’ experience preferred Sound working knowledge of computer applications such as Meditech is required Strong organization and problem solving skills. Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history required Salary: Minimum - $32.32/hour; Maximum - $37.26/hour Vacancy Type: New/Replacement Vacancy
