DIETARY AIDE Home: Garden City Manor Location: St. Catharines, ON Hourly Wage: starting at $23.46 Status: Temporary Part Time (6/24/2026-9/01/2026) Schedule:(6:30am-2:30pm) ty. As a Dietary Aide, you’ll play an important role in supporting the nutritional well-being of our residents. Reporting to the Food Service Manager, you’ll assist with meal preparation, serve meals with care, and ensure that kitchen and dining areas are clean, safe, and welcoming. You’ll also help accommodate individual dietary needs and contribute to a warm, home-like atmosphere. Duties and Responsibilities Ensuring food is handled in a safe manner, including proper storage and labeling Assisting cooks in basic food preparation Executing proper food service in relation to internal and external guidelines and protocols Serving meals according to Resident diet orders Washing, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and dining room Qualifications Mandatory enrollment or completion of a College Level Food Service Worker Program, meeting the requirements of the Ontario Long-Term Care Homes Act Possess a current Safe Food Handling Certificate Have a caring heart with a passion for serving others Passion for providing quality care to residents in a long-term care setting Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Demonstrated ability to be a team player Additional requirements: A negative vulnerable sector check completed within 6 months of hire date. Completion of a 2 Step TB Skin test within the last 12 months. Interested applicants should send their resume here.
