*Job Summary:* We are seeking an enthusiastic and responsible *Summer Day Camp Counsellor * to join our team! In this role, you will supervise and lead fun, age-appropriate daily activities for children aged 5?13, while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. You will also support administrative duties, weekly planning, and field trip coordination. \*Note: 30 minute breaks will be taken but not paid *Key Responsibilities:* * Lead activities including crafts, swimming, outdoor fun and etc. * Create and manage weekly schedules * Supervise campers and maintain a positive, safe environment * Complete administrative tasks such as copying, printing, and document organization * Plan and supervise off-site field trips and transportation * Manage daily sign-in/sign-out for campers and staff * Communicate clearly with parents and camp staff * Maintain consistent health and safety protocols *Qualifications:* * Must be between 16 to 29 years old (as per funding requirements) * Experience working with children (ages 5?13) is required * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills * CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willing to obtain before camp starts) * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Ability to supervise children in both indoor and outdoor settings.
