Summary The crew leader manages his team to perform snow removal activities manually or using tools according to Strathmore standards Responsibilities · Lead and manage a small crew of 2-3 individuals on our clients’ sites · Shovel snow and apply salt or ice-melting products · Operate snowblowers and other snow-removal equipment · Work as part of a sidewalk or equipment crew · Operate a plow truck, when qualified and authorized · Drive the crew to the different sites safely · Inspect the vehicle and equipment on a daily basis · Enter work orders, inspection information and crew members hours on a daily basis. · Other related duties and tasks For a perfect match · 2 years of landscaping or snow removal experience (asset) · A college diploma or DEC in horticulture, landscaping or a related field (preferred) · Good knowledge of snow removal processes · 24/7 availability in case of snow events · Bilingual (French and English) is an asset · Able to work autonomously · Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and manage stress · Competent with computers and phone apps · Must have a valid Canadian driver’s license with a good driving record Benefits · Competitive wages and Paid overtime · Guaranteed hours during the winter season · Possibility of a year-long employment with group benefits insurance · Great work environment and Fun staff events throughout the year · Education and on-the-job training · Opportunities to advance quickly within the company · On-site parking / bike racks / transit accessible

The crew leader manages a small team to perform manual and mechanical snow removal activities according to company standards. Responsibilities include operating equipment, driving the crew to various sites, and maintaining accurate records of work orders and hours.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in landscaping or snow removal and possess a valid Canadian driver's license. A college diploma in a related field is preferred, along with 24/7 availability during the winter season.
