Job Type: Full Time, Seasonal Schedule: 10+ hours per day, 6 & 1, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week Perks: Benefits, RRSP/TFSA Matching Location: Edmonton and Surrounding Area’s - no direct access to public transportation Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions Requirements: Personal Reliable Vehicle CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support Pre-employment: Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test) Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation Finish Grader Responsibilities: Operate the grader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment. Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance. Drive the grader in successive passes over working area, observing reference stakes or hand signals of other workers, to level the surface to the specified grade. Finish grade base surface preparation to within half an inch. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the grader. Ensure grader is in proper gear, and is not moving too fast for working conditions. Demonstrate an understanding of grades and interpret roadway plans and draw Finish Grader Operator Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Finish Grader Operator. Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Experience with finishing work required Sureway Construction Group is an equal opportunity employer. Operate a grader and other heavy equipment to level surfaces to specified grades and prepare base surfaces. Perform daily maintenance, safety checks, and interpret roadway plans to ensure precise grading.

Exigences

Requires 3 to 5 years of experience as a Finish Grader Operator and a personal reliable vehicle. Candidates must pass drug and alcohol testing and possess CSA approved steel-toed boots.
