TalentWorld is hiring Heavy General Labourers to join a busy production facility where safety, quality, and teamwork are valued. Strong attendance and performance can lead to long-term, full-time opportunities with the client. Heavy General Labour Responsibilities Prepare concrete forms Install inserts and remove excess concrete from moulds Assist in cutting and placing rebar wire Operate hand and power tools (measuring devices, trowels, etc.) Support machine operators handling concrete materials Perform concrete finishing and stencil application Remove finished products from moulds and conduct quality inspections Clean and maintain moulds, equipment, and work areas Occasionally assist with cleaning inside concrete mixers (requires fitted mask) Work is primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks Heavy General Labour Qualifications Previous concrete or construction experience an asset Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs Reliable, punctual, and available for all shift types Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to producing quality work Must be clean-shaven if working in the mixer (due to fitted respirator requirements) Safety-focused with a strong work ethic Working within a team and on individual tasks Requirements Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (no transit access; site safety requirement) CSA-approved work boots that cover the ankles (PPE provided otherwise) Ability to work in a dusty environment (not suitable for those with dust allergies) No jewelry permitted anywhere in the facility Employment Details Location: Oakville Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 3:30pm - 12:00 am Competitive Wages starting at $26 with potential for increase Accommodations are available upon request to support your participation during all stages of the recruitment process.
