We’re looking for a hardworking Machine Operator who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, work with 70 lb parts, and keep production moving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. TalentWorld is hiring experienced Machine Operators in Guelph for a top client that values safety, reliability, and operators who get things done right. Machine Operator Responsibilities Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings(blueprints), and/or work orders. Operate, and monitor machinery with minimal supervision to ensure proper functioning and production output. Operate small hand tools, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the job's needs. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process and adjust as needed. Record Production data and maintain logs to track machine performance and output. Inspect finished products for adherence to specifications and quality standards; identify and address any defects or issues. Keep your work area clean and safe at all times. Machine Operator Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment is an advantage. Experience operating machinery and knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques such as 5S would be considered an asset. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Basic math skills and proficiency in using measuring tools. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Reliable attendance and punctuality. CSA-approved safety shoes.
