Technical Project Manager

Position Overview Client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of Azure cloud application projects. The successful candidate will manage multiple workstreams, oversee project governance, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with enterprise cloud and security standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of Azure cloud application projects, managing scope, timelines, risks, quality, and dependencies. Coordinate and guide cross-functional teams, including: Software Developers Business Analysts Solution Architects Vendors and third-party partners Collaborate with business and operational stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable project plans. Oversee: Project governance Sprint execution Stakeholder communications Issue and risk management Ensure compliance with cloud, security, and enterprise standards. Manage detailed project schedules, deliverables, and project scope. Monitor project costs and provide accurate forecasting and reporting. Promote project management best practices and adherence to established methodologies. Coordinate project processes and develop guidelines and procedures where required. Develop and manage complex project budgets involving multiple funding sources and dependencies. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Present project status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders. Prepare executive-level status reports and briefings. Required Qualifications Must-Have Skills Minimum 8 years of experience leading end-to-end Azure cloud application projects. Minimum 8 years of experience managing project timelines, scope, risks, and quality across multiple workstreams. Minimum 8 years of experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams, including developers, business analysts, architects, and vendors. Minimum 8 years of experience overseeing: Project governance Agile/Sprint execution Stakeholder management Issue resolution Compliance with cloud, security, and enterprise standards Proven experience with: Project scheduling and deliverable management Budget tracking and forecasting Executive reporting Risk and issue management Enterprise project delivery frameworks Nice-to-Have Public sector experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience working within government or large enterprise environments.

Lead the end-to-end delivery of Azure cloud application projects by managing scope, timelines, risks, and cross-functional teams. Oversee project governance, budget forecasting, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment with enterprise security standards.

Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience leading Azure cloud projects and managing complex technical workstreams. Proven expertise in Agile execution, project governance, and executive-level reporting is required.
