We’re hiring Academy Coaches – Toronto United FC (Mississauga) Toronto United FC is growing, and we’re looking for passionate Academy Coaches to help develop the next generation of players (ages 5–18) at our Mississauga training centre. As an Academy Coach, you will: Run fun, high‑energy training sessions using our TUFC methodology Design sessions that build technical skill, game intelligence, and confidence Support individual player pathways toward collegiate, professional, or high‑performance environments Collaborate closely with fellow coaches, our General Manager, and Technical Director to keep standards high on and off the pitch Role at a glance Part‑time / contractor (immediate start for the summer season) 3–15 hours per week In‑person at our Mississauga location (Courtneypark Dr W) with on‑site parking Pay range: TBD - based on experience and qualifications What we’re looking for Playing and/or coaching background in soccer Strong communicator who is punctual, organized, and great with kids and families Passion for player development and creating a safe, positive training environment NCCP MED, Respect in Sport, Making Head Way, Emergency Action Plan, and Rule of Two (or willingness to obtain these certifications) Nice to have: Fundamentals, Learn to Train, Soccer for Life, or Concacaf C Licence Experience in academy, grassroots, or high‑performance youth environments How to apply If you’re excited to build a meaningful coaching career and help young players in the GTA reach their potential, we’d love to hear from you. As an Academy Coach, you will run fun, high-energy training sessions and design sessions that build technical skill and game intelligence. You will also support individual player pathways and collaborate with fellow coaches and management.
Exigences
Candidates should have a playing or coaching background in soccer and be strong communicators who are organized and great with kids. Certifications such as NCCP MED and Respect in Sport are preferred, along with experience in youth environments.
