Elementary Classroom Teacher

Vancouver Talmud Torah is currently recruiting Elementary Classroom Teachers for the 2026/2027 school year. Vancouver Talmud Torah is an Early Childhood to Grade 7 Jewish community day school fostering Jewish identity and literacy with a strong emphasis on producing students who will engage the world through Jewish values. We are Western Canada's largest Jewish community day school and have more than 100 years of experience! Qualifications: Current TRB Certification. Bachelor’s degree in Education. Commitment to students and to supporting their individual learning needs. Skill in differentiating instruction and fostering a collaborative and creative environment with faculty and staff. Ability to use a wide range of learning strategies and teaching styles according to the needs of the class and the students. A commitment to excellence in teaching, collaboration and ongoing professional growth. An excellent understanding of the BC Ministry of Education SK-7 program A proficiency with using technology to enhance the curriculum. Position pay scale: According to scholarship and experience level in accordance with our Collective Agreement. Position closing date: Open until filled. Deliver high-quality elementary education to students in a Jewish community day school setting. Foster Jewish identity and literacy while implementing innovative and creative learning experiences.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Education and current TRB Certification. Candidates must have a strong understanding of the BC Ministry of Education SK-7 program and proficiency in educational technology.
