Job Title: Structural Design Engineer – Aerospace Location: Canada (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time / C2C Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer with a strong background in Aerospace Structural Design and Onsite & Offshore Engineering Coordination. The ideal candidate will act as the primary interface between the client engineering team and offshore design teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables, technical compliance, and smooth project execution across aircraft structural programs. This role requires deep expertise in CATIA V5, aircraft structural design, drawing creation, and coordination of global engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate aerospace structural design activities between onsite and offshore engineering teams. Serve as the technical liaison between customers, manufacturing, and offshore design centers. Develop and modify aircraft structural components using CATIA V5. Create detailed manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation. Review engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and customer requirements. Support engineering change requests (ECR/ECO) and design modifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including stress analysis, manufacturing, quality, and certification. Ensure timely project execution while maintaining engineering quality standards. Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and customer meetings. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance when required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. 8–10+ years of experience in Aerospace Structural Design Engineering. Experience working as a Senior Structural Design Engineer or Lead Engineer is preferred. Proven experience coordinating Onsite and Offshore engineering teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with CATIA V5 (3D Modeling) (Mandatory) Experience creating manufacturing drawings using CATIA Drafting Experience with ENOVIA Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Knowledge of aerospace drawing standards Understanding of structural design principles and load paths Familiarity with metallic and sheet metal aircraft structures Basic understanding of stress analysis concepts

Lead and coordinate aerospace structural design activities between onsite and offshore engineering teams while serving as a technical liaison. Develop aircraft structural components using CATIA V5 and manage engineering documentation and change requests.

Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with over 8-10 years of experience in aerospace structural design. Must possess expert-level proficiency in CATIA V5 and experience coordinating global engineering teams.
