*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented *Casual Housekeeper* to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for residents and staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and cleaning to contribute to a high-quality service experience. *The candidate will work on an as-needed basis, with shifts generally 8 hours in length. Shifts may vary based on operational needs and may include short-notice work, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.* *Duties* * Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces * Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels * Ensure all areas meet established cleanliness standards and safety protocols * Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly * Follow established procedures for industrial cleaning when necessary * Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition * Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment *Qualifications* * Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team * Good communication skills and a professional attitude * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching * Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is advantageous This position is ideal for individuals committed to providing exceptional cleanliness standards within a hospitality setting.
