This role leads a team of Schedulers, providing guidance, coaching, and support while driving consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across scheduling processes. As a key operational partner, the Lead Scheduler helps ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time, supporting the success of employees, the Ski & Ride School team, and Whistler Blackcomb's commitment to delivering world-class guest experiences. Job Specifications Starting Wage: $23.59 -$31.45 Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 Shift Type: Full Time hours available Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age Housing Availability: Yes Job Responsibilities Lead, coach, and support a team of Schedulers to ensure accurate, efficient, and consistent scheduling practices. Oversee the creation and maintenance of daily, weekly, and seasonal schedules for Ski & Ride School instructors and support staff. Collaborate with Managers, Supervisors, and operational leaders to support daily staff deployment and resource allocation. Act as the primary escalation point for complex scheduling challenges and staffing decisions. Support daily operational planning and contribute scheduling expertise to department decision-making. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and service excellence. Support initiatives that promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace environment. Other duties as assigned Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Must be able to communicate fluently in English Previous experience in scheduling, workforce planning, administration, or operations coordination. Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A Knowledge of Ski & Ride School operations and instructor certification pathways is preferred. The expected pay range is $23.59 -$31.45. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
