Fort McMurray Composite High School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our instructional team in the role of Senior High ILC and CALM Teacher.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The Ideal Candidate would possess the following background, philosophy, and experience:
- Experience teaching in a junior high and senior high school setting, with knowledge of CTS Program of Studies and CALM.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Assessment for Learning, Literacy and Differentiated Instruction practices.
- Effective organizational and classroom management skills are imperative.
- Ability to integrate and use technology in a regular and virtual classroom.
- Ability to create goals for Individual Program Plans as well as implement the plan for students.
- A strong ability to build relationships with high school students, staff and parents.
- Strong technology skills are required, with knowledge of Google Platform applications and PowerSchool an asset.
- Flexible TEAM player.
- Knowledge of the Collaborative Response Model is an asset.
