We are searching for an energetic, self-motivated teacher to fill a full-time temporary Grade 1 position at Al Amal Academy. This is a maternity leave replacement position that will commence on October 19th, 2026 for the duration of 2026-2027 school year with the possibility of an extension into the 2027-2028 school year.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is eager to inspire young learners, bring creativity into the classroom, and contribute meaningfully to a school environment rooted in respect, curiosity, and spiritual growth. In this role, you will design and deliver dynamic, hands-on learning experiences across all core subjects, fostering a nurturing space where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to thrive. Your strong communication skills, commitment to student success, and enthusiasm for collaboration with families and colleagues will make you an exceptional fit for our team. Confidence in integrating technology and using diverse instructional strategies to meet the needs of all learners will be especially appreciated.

As a teacher at Al Amal Academy, you will guide students through key early learning milestones while delivering the Alberta Education curriculum and promoting foundational literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development within a caring and faith-centered setting.
