Dawn InfoTek Inc. is a professional IT consulting team that partners with major financial institutions, investment firms, and government sectors. We are currently seeking a Cobol Developer for a contract opportunity with Scotiabank. Onsite Requirement: 2 days/week, Monday and Wednesday Note: Onsite requirement may increase to 3–4 days/week based on business needs Contract Duration: ASAP to October 31, 2026

Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain applications using COBOL on mainframe systems • Perform unit testing of COBOL/DB2 modules • Support QA testing execution and defect resolution • Collaborate with team members to deliver enhancements and improvements • Work within a DevOps environment using tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins • Support mainframe application development, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities Must Have Skills: • 5+ years of development experience with mainframe technologies • Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, and DB2 • Hands-on experience with version control tools such as Endevor or similar tools • Experience working in mainframe development or application maintenance environments • Strong communication skills
