A temporary opening exists within the Engineering Department at Country Squire for a temporary Engineering Clerk.
Reporting to the Vice President of Grid Transformation and Chief Distribution Officer, this position is responsible for providing administrative support to the designated department including handling service requests, processing invoices, coordinating with stakeholders and managing communications to ensure timely responses and follow-ups.
The expected start date is July 6, 2026, with the contract ending on April 30, 2027. This is a temporary position covering an employee leave, with potential extension based on the employee’s return date.

- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Proficient in information processing, filing and records management
- Intermediate MS365 skills
Knowledge/Education
- Intermediate working knowledge of various business applications including CIS, JD Edwards, GIS and Cognos
- Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements as it relates to individual, organizational and operational requirements
- Post-secondary diploma in office administration, business or related discipline
- Advanced knowledge of station related power equipment as well as associated operation, test and maintenance procedures
- Basic knowledge of station related protection, control and communications apparatus
Experience
- 2 years’ clerical experience in an office environment
Major (Primary) Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries, process service requests and maintain customer information system (CIS).
- Ensure New Account Applications are correctly completed and set up new customer accounts.
- Process Generation Applications and Agreements and ensure information is updated in a timely manner.
- Collect information and update records to ensure reporting requirements are met.
- Provide guidance and coordination in the processing and verification of easements and maintain documentation on all registered easements.
- Prepare correspondence regarding deficiencies and ensure timely follow up to verify completion and resolution.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and process approved invoices for payment.
- Prepare and process Residential Development Agreements with required information to ensure stakeholders are aware of Enova requirements and distribute signed agreements to relevant stakeholders.
- Act as the main point of contact for the department and ensure all inquiries are distributed to the appropriate party to ensure a timely response.
- Provide general administrative support to designated departments.
- Support Corporate Occupational Health & Safety initiatives by incorporating safe work practices into daily work routine and reporting any unsafe conditions or work practices.
- Complete the regularly scheduled cybersecurity awareness training. Maintain an awareness of the sensitivity of the data within the work environment. Keep passwords private. Report changes in user status. Report suspected security violations. Follow staff reporting structure to communicate if any concerns/issues/risks are identified. Follow physical security protocols.
Salary Range: $29.41 – $37.07 per hour.
