Role: Platform Engineer Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Payout: $25 - $50/hour

Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a RunOps Support – Platform and Infra to work on a contract basis. This role involves maintaining and optimizing infrastructure and platform services to ensure seamless operations. You will troubleshoot issues and implement improvements to support high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services to ensure 99.9% uptime. • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related incidents within defined SLAs. • Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and validate infrastructure changes. • Perform routine maintenance tasks including patching, backups, and security updates. • Document operational procedures and incident reports for knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications: • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is required. • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell is required. • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred. • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) is required. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) is a plus. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
