This position requires you to be in the office in Toronto three days a week!
We’re looking for a passionate and curious student to join our team as a Narrative Designer intern ready to dive into the heart of creating worlds and stories that captivate players. You will help imagine engaging narratives, shape memorable characters, and craft strong storytelling moments that enrich gameplay. You’ll also contribute to content integration in Unreal Engine and collaborate with the design team to bring immersive interactive experiences to life.

In this role you will :
Assist in integrating and maintaining in-game text and dialogue. Work directly in Gridly for narrative implementation. Create documents & supportive narrative materials Collaborate closely with the narrative design team to brainstorm creative ways to express the game’s core mechanics. through story, context, and worldbuilding-driven moments.
What we're looking for :
Background in narrative design or creative writing, preferably in the horror genre. Ability to display a strong understanding of plot, structure, and character. Strong understanding in how story is used to support game mechanics and enhance player retention. Knowledge of Jira, Miro, Excel, PPT and other related tools. Experience writing in‑game dialogue and text, crafting immersive, coherent, and character‑appropriate content that enhances the player experience, an asset.
