Job Summary and Requirements
This posting is for one part-time term working 37.5 hours biweekly ending January 2027, and one casual position. The hours and schedule of this position will vary each week between the days of operation, Tuesday to Saturday.

The opportunity…
The Liquor Store Clerk provides courteous and professional service while assisting customers with retail liquor sales. They support daily store operations through the operation of a computerized point-of-sale (POS) system, as well as the receipt, handling, and merchandising of stock to promote product awareness and drive sales. In addition, they contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring for underage customers, intoxicated individuals, and potential shoplifting activities. As part of the team, they also ensure the store is maintained in a clean and orderly condition by performing organizational and janitorial duties.

- Considerable experience working in a high-volume retail environment or licensed establishment
- Considerable experience providing customer service
- Experience with shipping, receiving, validating and/or stocking incoming inventory
- Experience balancing cash, receipts, and a float at the end of a shift
- Experience using a computerized point-of-sale (POS) system
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Additional information
Job requirements: Wearing safety footwear, wearing a uniform provided by Yukon Liquor Corporation. Being able to stand or walk for longer periods of time, being able to repetitively lift heavy items (up to 50lbs)
