We are recruiting a Financial Analyst to fulfill an 18-month contract on behalf of our client. This role plays an important part in supporting an upcoming project and will require you to interpret, build and maintain large data sets. Working closely with senior leadership, directors, and managers, this individual will provide financial guidance, support budgeting processes, and contribute to continuous improvement across financial operations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and proactive professional who takes ownership, delivers accurate results, and drives continuous improvement. They are collaborative, confident, and approachable, with strong analytical skills and the ability to build trusted relationships while supporting organizational success. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will:
Build and maintain large data sets/bases through business analytics and data visualization platforms. Conduct financial analysis, including variance reviews, forecasting, trend analysis, and identifying opportunities and risks Develop and maintain financial and workforce reports to support planning, data accuracy, and operational decisions Review and analyze financial transactions, statements, and accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and month-end accounting activities while supporting reliable financial reporting Partner with leadership and internal stakeholders by providing financial insights, budget support, and guidance for decision-making Support budgeting, resource planning, business cases, and financial impacts of organizational initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial issues and promote effective financial practices

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field CPA designation preferred 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and reporting Strong written and verbal English communication skills required Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI Strong knowledge of business analytics, with the ability to build and maintain databases, analyze large datasets, identify trends, and support forecasting and strategic planning
Compensation:
$93,000 - $103,000 annual salary range Hybrid work environment Available parking for $80/month
